                           Cutting of the Amazon Rainforest               The Amazon rainforest is 2.1 BILLION acres and every second the equivalent of what is cut down is nearly 2 acres! You could blink once and more than your whole yard would be cut down.  Cutting down the Amazon rainforest is one of the biggest problems in the world. In the past 50 years we have cut down around 20 percent of the entire rainforest. And in the next 50 years the Amazon rainforest could be entirely gone if we don’t do anything about it. Not only do we destroy the rainforest but we are harming animals and plants.                                                               Poverty Is A Problem           Poverty is a huge problem not only in the U.S. but all over the world. There are BILLIONS of people living around the world in extreme poverty. Almost half the entire world lives with a household income of two and a half dollars a day!           Being in poverty can cause many issues not only physically but mentally too.
